-
Yes! Give your kyni a gentle rinse in cool, fresh water after swimming, especially after being in chlorine or salt water. This helps prevent buildup and keeps the fabric and elastic looking and feeling their best.
-
kyni pieces are made using quality stretch swim fabrics selected for their look, feel, and performance in the water. Materials may vary slightly between fabrics, but most are a 80% nylon + 20% spandex or 90% polyester + 10% lycra fabrics.
-
Treat these details with a little extra love. Hand wash gently, avoid scrubbing or pulling on embroidery and beads, and lay your bikini flat to dry. Be mindful of rough surfaces that could snag the stitching or beadwork.
-
Like most swimwear, prolonged exposure to chlorine, salt water, sunscreen, oils, and direct sunlight can affect color over time. Rinsing your kyni after swimming and allowing it to dry out of direct sunlight will help preserve its color.
-
You can, but hot tubs are particularly harsh on swimwear because of the combination of heat and concentrated chemicals. Frequent hot-tub use may shorten the life of the fabric, elastic, and handmade details.
-
Make sure your bikini is completely dry before storing it. Keep it somewhere cool and dry, and avoid folding or placing heavy items directly on beading or other dimensional details.
-
Do I have the recipe for you! ♡ If it’s time to put your kyni away for the season, give it a little end-of-summer spa day before storing it:
Grab a bowl large enough to comfortably fit your bikini and fill it with COLD water.
Add about 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar to help freshen the fabric and remove lingering buildup.
Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to help with any stubborn odors.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt.
Mix everything together, then submerge your kyni and let it soak for about 5–10 minutes. No scrubbing or wringing!
Rinse your kyni thoroughly with fresh, cold water.
Gently press out the excess water and let it air dry completely in the SHADE. Avoid direct sunlight and the dryer.
Once completely dry, fold it gently and store it in a cool, dry drawer or breathable space. Avoid sealing it away while there’s any moisture left.
When swim season comes around again, your kyni will be ready for another summer with you. ♡

Yes! If your ready-to-wear kyni isn’t quite the right fit, you can request an exchange. Get in touch with your order information and the size you’d like instead, and I’ll send you instructions for sending your original set back. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original condition to be eligible for an exchange.

Because every custom kyni is made according to the options and sizing you select, custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged due to fit. Please take your measurements and compare them with the kyni size guide before ordering. If you have any unique fit concerns, leave them in the notes section when building your bikini so I can keep them in mind while making it.

If you realize you need to change something, get in touch as soon as possible. Since custom orders begin production quickly, I can’t guarantee that changes can be made once I’ve started making your kyni, but I’ll do my best if you catch me in time!

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees determined by your country. These charges are separate from kyni’s $20 worldwide shipping fee and are the responsibility of the customer.

Every body is different, so I recommend using your measurements rather than relying only on your usual size. Check the kyni size guide and compare your bust, underbust, waist, and hip measurements to find your best fit. When creating a custom set, your top and bottom sizes don’t have to match, so feel free to choose each separately. You can also leave any fit preferences or anything you’d like me to keep in mind in the notes section when creating your custom set.
-
Taking your measurements is the best way to ensure your kyni fits the way you want it to. Sizing can vary between brands, so your usual size isn’t always the most accurate guide. Before ordering, measure your bust, underbust, waist, and hips and compare them with the kyni size guide. For the most accurate measurements, keep the measuring tape parallel to the floor and gently fitted around your body without pulling it too tight.
-
If you fall between sizes, don’t worry! Choose the size that most closely matches your measurements and leave me a note with your measurements and how you like your swimwear to fit. Since your kyni is made just for you, I can keep those details in mind while making your piece.
-
That’s totally normal. Choose the size that most closely matches your measurements and include your bra/cup size and any fit concerns in the notes section. I’ll take everything into consideration when making your bikini.
-
Yes! If you’d like a little more or less coverage than the standard design, add your request in the notes section when customizing your kyni. I’ll do my best to accommodate it while keeping the integrity of the style.
-
Yes. If there’s something about standard swimwear sizing that usually doesn’t work for your body, tell me! Include your measurements and what you typically struggle with in the notes section so I can keep it in mind while making your kyni. You may also include measurements of the rise you’re after.
-
Because each kyni is made specifically for you, it’s especially important to double-check your measurements against the size guide before ordering. If you’re unsure which size to choose, reach out before placing your order and I can help you figure out the best option.
